in Weston & Surrounding Areas
Do you want a beautiful lawn you can enjoy all year long? South Florida’s unique climate is the perfect place for lush green landscapes, here at Professional Pestguard Exterminating Services, we know it's difficult to find the time to maintain thick, vibrant & healthy grass. Your grass has very specific nutrient needs throughout the year. We’ve designed our lawn care programs so that homeowners like you can have strong, healthy grass without having to worry about the details.
COMPREHENSIVE LAWN CARE PROGRAM
Since no two landscapes are alike we must start by making a free analysis of your lawn to determine any existing problems, such as nutrient deficiencies, weeds, presence of insects and diseases. Ultimately we customize and design a lawn care program to help your landscape look its very best year round.
LANDSCAPE FERTILIZATION PROGRAM
All living plants, trees, pals and turf grass need a constant supply of nutrients to be able to grow healthy, normal and to bloom as necessary. The right brand and analysis of slow release fertilizer will help achieve that expectation. No one type of fertilizer is suitable for every plant, tree, palm or turf. Our technicians are licensed and trained to select and apply the proper fertilizer on every occasion. The end result is that your landscape will look its very best through every season.
Note of advice: To achieve maximum results a working and well adjusted irrigation system is a vital component for a successful landscape program.
LANDSCAPE INSECT CONTROL PROGRAM
Achieving a healthy landscape required that damaging insects be eradicated immediately before they establish themselves in any part of the landscape. Periodic preventive insect control treatment will allow that. The following are common nuisance and damaging insects: centipedes, millipedes, crickets, sod webworms, chinch bugs, white grubs, fleas, ticks, ants, aphid, scales, spiders, thrips, ficus whitefly and others.
Eliminating them from your property not only will help the appearance of your landscape but you'll have the added benefit of having friends, family and pets enjoy your outdoors without worry of being bitten by any ant, flea or tick!
TURF GRASS WEED CONTROL PROGRAM
Weeds are very opportunistic; they will take advantage of any weakness on the turf grass. Things such as: not enough water or excessive water, shaded areas, mowing the turf less than 3.5" short, stress walk areas or not having a proper nutrition program will help weeds thrive.
Our weed control program will address all the previously mentioned issues and try to correct them. Advice will be given to customers so they can make such changes. Working in combination with property owners is of maximum importance to achieve optimum results. Most common weeds are broadleaf and bi-annuals which mean that twice a year the seeds existing on the ground will germinate and produce new plants. It's during this time that a post merge herbicide will be applied to control them.
Note of advice: Using too much herbicide may have an adverse result and harm not only the turf but also other trees and palms.
LANDSCAPE DISEASE CONTROL PROGRAM
A disease can occur anytime in your landscape without warning. It only requires the right amount of water either from rain fall or sprinkler system, the right temperature and any flying spores can activate and soon enough start to produce a lesion on any tree, plant leaf or turf grass. Treating disease immediately such as brown patches on turf grass or leaf spots on ornamentals is key to stop lesions from getting any bigger and infecting other areas of your landscape. Knowing the times of year that the disease is more prevalent allows us to treat, stop and prevent further damage.
